👋🏻 Walking Through the Door: What to Expect
We know that walking into a new group can feel a little daunting, but we’ve got you. Every Chapter 25 meet-up is led by a friendly local host whose main job is to make sure you feel welcome.
Once you have signed up, you will be given access to our Barnsley WhatsApp group, where your host will keep you updated on any last-minute changes to arrangements.
When you arrive, just look out for the group of book lovers! Your host will be keeping an eye out for fresh faces, ready to greet you, introduce you to the group, and help you settle right in. You’re in safe hands! If the group is not immediately obvious, just ask one of the venue’s staff members, and they will direct you to the right area.

Parking: Members who drive park either in the Glassworks or ‘The Upper Seam’; both are free after 5.

Public Transport: We are right beside the interchange in Barnsley.

Venue Accessibility: As we are upstairs and there is no lift, the venue unfortunately isn’t suitable if you struggle with stairs.
