👋🏻 Walking Through the Door: What to Expect
We know that walking into a new group can feel a little daunting, but we’ve got you. Every Chapter 25 meet-up is led by a friendly local host whose main job is to make sure you feel welcome.
Once you have signed up, you will be given access to our Altrincham WhatsApp group, where your host will keep you updated on any last-minute changes to arrangements.
When you arrive, just look out for the group of book lovers! Your host will be keeping an eye out for fresh faces, ready to greet you, introduce you to the group, and help you settle right in. You’re in safe hands! If the group is not immediately obvious, just ask one of the venue’s staff members, and they will direct you to the right area.

Address: Oppio Lounge, 63 George Street, Altrincham, WA14 1RJ (Located halfway up the main pedestrianised shopping precinct opposite M&S).

Parking: There is parking available at the nearby Stamford Quarter multi-storey or at Tesco.

Public Transport: The Lounge is situated approximately 5/10 mins walk from the main Interchange, where you can get a bus, train or tram.

Venue Accessibility: Oppio Lounge offers step-free level access to the ground floor, with toilets both up and downstairs. However, unfortunately, they do not have a lift to upstairs, so if you have mobility problems, please advise the host, and they will be happy to assist.
